Early Interest in Music & Sound: From the age of 16, actively assisted his father in managing Lalkar—a Gramophone Records Library and Sound System business.
Career at Akashvani (1966-2002, 36 years): Served as a Transmission & Programme Executive at Pune, Ahmedabad, Sangli, Panaji, and other stations. Spent 12 years as In-Charge & Producer of the Music Section.
Notable Productions:
- Conducted interviews with legends like Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki, Sudhir Phadke, Manik Verma, Jyosna Bhole, and P.L. Deshpande
- Produced National Programs of Regional Music from Delhi AIR, including Maharashtra Ka Bhakti Sangeet and Maharashtra Ka Warkari Sampraday Sangeet (in Hindi & English).
- Created a special illustrated program on Bandishi for AIR Pune in 2012.
Music Concerts & Events:
- Organized concerts featuring eminent artists in Pune, Sangli, Satara, and Karad.
- Arranged non-sponsored musical events (1995-2019) for friends and relatives, featuring Manjusha Patil, Asha Khadilkar, Anand Bhate, Shounak Abhisheki, Rahul Deshpande, etc.
- Produced Sangeet Natak performances like Sanshay Kallol and Manapaman in memory of his parents.

- Served as a judge for music competitions and auditions across various institutions.
