Jalsa
At GMV Pune, Gurukul Jalsa and Gandharva Jalsa are monthly programs designed to provide students with valuable, real-world experience in performing classical arts. These initiatives are essential to GMV Pune’s philosophy of “learning through performing.” Through consistent participation, students can actively work to overcome stage fright, build confidence, and gain hands-on insights that are vital for their artistic development.
Both Gurukul Jalsa and Gandharva Jalsa allow students to showcase their skills in a supportive environment, fostering self-improvement and discipline. Additionally, these programs give mentors an opportunity to assess each student's progress, helping them refine their techniques and focus on areas for growth. This unique performance-based evaluation method enables students to achieve deeper mastery in their chosen art forms and stay motivated on their journey toward excellence in classical arts.
