Gandharva Mahavidyalaya organizes several famous and prestigious musical concerts based on various unique concepts. All the programs organized by Gandharva Mahavidyalaya are open to all and free of charge except the ViViD Sangeet Samaroh.
 

Some of these recognized concerts are –
 

Bujurga Mahotsav –

As a symbol of respect to the elderly artists, Gandharva Mahavidyalaya arranges a special musical concert for senior artists who are above 60 years of age. The blessings and wishes of these artists are really precious for the institute and thus the program has immense importance for us. The program includes performances of senior artists followed by felicitation by the institute.
 

Shankuntala Smriti Yuva Sangit Samaroh –

In the memory of Shankuntala Bhatwadekar - an avid music lover, a special program is arranged for young artists, the program is famous as Shankuntala Smriti Yuva Sangit Samaroh. Young artists from all over India are given an opportunity to perform in front of the renowned musical personalities and music loving audience too. The program aims at giving a dedicated platform for young artists; it takes place in three sessions and six young artists perform in them.

Vadya-Vadan Samaroh

Gandharva Mahavidyalaya conducts another music program which is especially dedicated to Instrumental Music. Artists proficient in various musical instruments ranging from Harmonium, Sanai, Violin, Tabala, Sitar, Mendolin take part in this Instrumental Festival. Several vocal music programs do take place in Pune; however, instrumental music finds lesser exposure. The objective behind arranging this exceptional program is to give the audiences an opportunity to listen to the valuable musical heritage Indian instruments has. Therefore, this festival opens up the musical treasure of India to the audiences and the students of music.
 

ViViD Smriti Sangeet Samaroh –

This unique name of program - ViViD – stands for Vishnu Digambar Paluskar – founder of Gandharva Mahavidyalaya of Lahore, Vinayakarao Patwardhan – founder of Gandharva Mahavidyalaya of Pune and Dattatraya Vishnu Paluskar – the most renowned and distinguished vocalist who was one of the first students of the institute. ViViD takes ahead the musical passion of these three personalities and is conducted in their memory.

Several internationally popular and acclaimed Indian musical personalities have performed in this concert. To name some of them, Malini Rajurkar, Veena Sahatrabuddhe, Padma Talwalkar, Prabhakar Karekar, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Rajan-Sajan Mishra, Sanjeev Abhyankar, Ronu Mujumdar, Arati Ankalikar, Ashwini Bhide, Shruti Sadolikar and so on. ViViD holds a special place in the hearts of not only the audiences but also the performers who look forward to presenting their art in this program.

This is the only program which is not free of cost, the funds collected through the program are used for various other musical activities and concerts that are conducted throughout the year and are open to all free of charge.
